In the future, mining is the driving force behind the economy, and Crystalon Celestia stands out as the most precious mineral thanks to its immense energy potential. The six great kingdoms of Infiniton have colonized Celestia Quasaris, an uninhabited planet where large quantities of this precious resource have been found. Each kingdom builds its own mining city to extract and exploit the mineral. The different kingdoms meet annually at the Concilium to define the rules of government for the new planet. Concilium Urbis is a game for 1-6 players, specially designed for relaxed moments. With simple rules, you can bring fun to your table for a large number of players while maintaining the depth of the game and without getting bogged down in complicated explanations. In your experience, you will find alliances, voting, mineral-energy management, and tile placement as scoring patterns. Do you want a game with depth, up to 6 players and isn't difficult to explain? Concilium Urbis is the game you're looking for. The game is played in 4 phases. 1.- Reveal two new law cards. These cards will change the central scores of the game for better or worse. During phase 4, a votation will be held to decide whether these laws will be applied or canceled for the end of the game. 2.- Construction. Simultaneously, each player will draw 4 tiles from the bag and divide them into two groups of two tiles each. They will pass one to the player on their left or right, as appropriate. All players will receive two groups of tiles. They will choose one of them and return the other group to the player who gave it to them. At the end of this operation, each player will have 4 tiles, two that they chose and two that were returned, which they must build within their city, deciding the position taking into account the scores dictated by the central cards. 3.- Production. In this phase, each factory will produce energy if it has a mine that supplies it with ore. With this ore, you can purchase end-game objectives to increase your score. 4.- Voting phase. In this phase, your Concilium and Tower tiles will produce votes that you will use to vote on law cards. Use your votes to approve or cancel new laws that modify the overall scores.
