Satori is the Japanese term that describes enlightenment, a state of no-mind in which one discovers the unique existence of the present, dissolving the past and future that are generated from the now. Clarity of thought from an elevated perspective. In Satori, players compete to advance on the path of spirituality. They must guide devotees to different altars where they meditate and pray, as well as monks to the mountains, where they seek wisdom and enlightenment, or help the architect build the great pagoda. At the end of the game, the winner will be the player who has traveled the longest distance on the path to satori, represented by the scoring track. Satori is a game for 1-4 players with great tactical depth. It will be key to see the opportunities that open up for you each round in the mountains where you will lead your monks to seek enlightenment. Unlike other worker placement games, in Satori there is a common pool of devotees (workers) divided into three colors. Each turn, you will take one of them to perform actions on the board, but be careful! On your turn, there may no longer be devotees of the color you want, causing interaction between players and affecting their selection. Similarly, unlike other games, the Satori board is constantly changing. During the game, players modify and build new actions that allow them to expand their options in the quest to optimize their turn. Take your monks to pray in the mountains to find enlightenment, which will allow you to perform memorable combos by multiplying your actions per turn.
