Sent out to investigate in dugout canoes, you quickly discover a lost scientific installation of the Ancient Ones, along with the intra-dimensional horrors that they should have left alone but did not. All that's required to reawaken these impossible 4-dimensional entities after millennia spent in dormancy is the touch of a sentient hand.
