Overflight Upgrade Kit

Overflight! is a solitaire aerial reconnaissance wargame about the CIA’s TOP SECRET U-2 spy plane. It is set in the Cold War from 1956 to 1960. This is the second book of the Special Mission Series from Historic Wings, a publisher whose mission is to publish aviation games that are true to history. Not only will you learn about the CIA's covert air force and the U-2, you will have the chance to see how you would have fared had you been in charge. The importance of the U-2 program to the US and Allied intelligence communities cannot be overstated. U-2 overflights provided 90% of all intelligence regarding the Soviet military during one of the most critical periods of the Cold War. The program was indispensable to US national security. This is a wargame book -- a full-featured wargame presented in the format of a book. This provides buyers with two options: a) to save some money and get the wargame book from Amazon and make your own maps, play aids, and game counters; b) to spend about what you'd spend for any boxed wargame by purchasing the book from Amazon AND purchasing the ready-made game assets (all maps, play aids, and game counters) from Blue Panther.
